Casa del Confessore, the Confessor's
House, is one of the properties we recently sold and one of the
objects in our show case. This reference object may serve as a source
of inspiration and give you an idea of an Italian home of high standard
in an ancient dwelling.
Casa del Confessore was once part of a 13th century convent.
Situated at the top of a medieval walled village, it overlooks the
unspoilt rolling Umbrian countryside and boasts a private cloister
garden as well as late Roman grottoes. The breathtaking panorama
embraces the ruins of Carsulae, the Roman excavation on the Via
Flaminia.
As part of our professional services, we invite you to visit this
or other reference objects and share the owners' experiences.
"When we entered the Confessor's House
it was love at first sight. Its medieval past, so well kept and
tastefully restored. The Casa Antica was what we had only dreamt
of! The stunning views, the pastoral setting, a healthy ambiance.
Solitude but not isolation. The Umbrian village life, so full of
charm and ease. We were soon adopted by friendly neighbours and
public services are at a convenient distance. We decided to defy
the bureaucratic nitpicking, settle down for good and make this
hamlet our permanent home. And we have not regretted it!" |
